Cheers Denise.
You're either some kind of Google goddess or you have an extremely long list of bookmarks.
Anyway, I drink about 2L (68oz) of water on a no-specific-exercise, not-too-hot kind of a day. The day always starts with a good drink of water, maybe 300mL (10oz) and a cup of coffee. I fill my drinkbottle and sip from it throughout the day, I'd guess having around 1500mL (51oz) between then and about 7pm/dinnertime. I usually have a glass of water with dinner too. I often have a mug of green/herbal/fruit tea after dinner. On cold days I often have an extra two or three cups of coffee/tea to help warm up. The tea usually replaces a drink of water, but the coffee is extra. Obviously, if it's hot and/or I'm getting some proper excercise (running for the train/bus doesn't count
), I'll drink more. I don't drink much soda or juice at present, largely because it makes for a freakin' heavy backback on the walk back from the supermarket. I grew up in a town with a very clean water supply, so I guess that has helped me grow up with good water-drinking habits. I certainly had to make myself drink water when I first moved to London - not the tastiest tap water here.
Drink coffee and do stupid things faster with more energy.
