FS: PI ELITE Thermal Tight (large)

Here is a link to PI to see the tights.

These were worn less than 10 times last winter. They retail for $90, so let's say $40 + shipping or $45 including shipping. They are nice, and have the red chamois (closer to hot pink - at least to my eye).

Thanks for considering these and helping me to get a new pair that fits

    Edited price - see above.

I might be interested. How warm are these?
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

I am unsure how to compare them since last winter was the first time that I've needed this kind of thing. I would ride in temps that were higher than, say, 23-25 - and would wear these and they were perfectly fine for those temps.

If there was a strong wind then I added leg warmers to get my lower legs covered, but I never felt like my legs were cold. The bottom of the tights hit me about mid-lower calf which was why I was always debating the need for additional leg warmers.

    Does this help?

I've been told that I am 'leggy' - according to the fitting sheet from my first LBS I have an inseam of 78cm. I am 5' 3.5"

They sound a might short for me. I guess I'll pass. Good luck.

Thanks for checking though. I do remember being surprised that they didn't go down a little further, just another 2 inches would have been great.

These are knickers, not tights after all. I am shorter so they come well below the knee for me, but do look like the image in the provided link. PI doesn't seem to have a link for these particular knickers. Sorry for any confusion!

No, they have little small round grippers on the legs. Someone said in another thread that knickers are just like long shorts, they have no insulation. These however do have a soft fleecy-like lining at the waist, have a drawstring, and the inside of the legs appear to have a lining similar to the waist but much lighter - they are still soft though.

I am calling them knickers due to the leg length - it is the only thing that makes sense. They do have the word "Thermal" printed on the bottom of the legs next to the reflective strip.

    Updated

    Bump...

I would also be willing to trade for a smart-wool balaclava (spelling?), or wind-proof gloves...

So, $40 + shipping for these large thermal knickers, or trade for smart-wool balaclava, wind-proof gloves, or a pair of medium or small knickers (with chamois).

Are they like this then? http://www.teamestrogen.com/prodPI_11211024.html

Could you verify the actual inseam -- from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg seam?

They look like the knickers in your link - however the chamois is a different color - it is red or a hot pink that is close to red.. I won't be able to post the inseam until after my ride tonight but will post it when I get in.

The inseam, from the bottom of the crotch to the bottom of the leg is 17.25 inches.
