I just purchased a pair of these myself and was a little perplexed at the same thing - this being my first pair of bib shorts (of any kind). I found it works if you pull it down as far as you can, then bend over as far as you can. Does that make sense? I kept hold of the fabric as I was concerned about wetting the shorts - but it worked fine.

Have only done this once and it was quite a challenge - but then again I find it difficult to walk and chew gum at the same time...

Thanks for all your help. What I had to do was really bend over and pull down as far as you can and hold the crotch so you don't wet them. Actually I figured out the catrin way myself. DUh. Catrin did you find that the fabric streched at all. Has not happened yet to mine, but I always look at the negative side of things. Went for a short ride in them yesterday and they were very comfy.

I have these, and feel like a taco when I use them. I have to bend over, and stay bent over until I'm done doing my bizniz. They're tighter in that regard than I expected, but they do what they're supposed to do, and are appreciably easier and faster than regular bibs. I love the chamois and otherwise like the fit and comfort of them.
For 3 days, I get to part of a thousand other journeys.
