    Topeak bar extender

Anyone have comments good or bad about this bar extender?

I'm trying to figure out what to do with my front light when I use the largish Ortlieb handlebar bag I bought today.

I can put a "be seen" light on my helmet -- that's all I usually need in the city. But I want to have a "see with" light available also for the occasional dark spot.

I don't have any direct experience with the Topeak extender, but this is on my list for this winter's commuting: http://www.purelycustom.com/c-82-bic...ry-mounts.aspx

Somehow, it looks more secure to me, although it may all be in my head....

Just stay away from the Mizuno Spacebar for anything heavier than a cycle computer or a small very light LED light.
