feel like a real road biker now....

I took a ride on a new part of the bike path Saturday that is fully paved and winds through some farmland. This part of the bike path is not as highly used as the part I take on my commute so, I proceeded to cruise along at 21mph. I even had someone drafting me for a while to my surprise!!! I kept thinking (as I saw him in my mirror) why isn't he passing me? Then, it dawned on me that he was drafting me on my Trek 520 It felt good for me, since I am usually so slow, and I never had this happen before.

Some other things I noticed are:
    --- I have a cyclists tan
---I am getting faster and more efficient on my 3 day a week commute.
---I have a new found love for road biking
(been a mountain biker for years so, this is all new to me in a way)

Anyway, I though I'd share with you all since most of my non-cyclist friends do not understand some of these things.

    Way cool!

I try to avoid the biker's tan by wearing tanks and shorter shorts. LOL

Way to go . . . having someone draft from you means you were flying girl! Wooooooo Hoooooo! Totally awesome!

You should see my biker's tan! My daughter (28 years old) is embarrassed for me! LOL
