The 30T worked fine, did wonders for my cadence. Something rubbed a bit, have to go to the LBS to discuss.
See my other post on toe overlap, I'm quite sad about that.

I got a 30T cog installed on my roadie - lost the 16 apparently, and kept everything else off my 12-27 Ultegra cassette.
This is for some serious climbing: I'm doing the Stelvio on Sat if the weather holds. That's 1900m of climbing, in one bit.
I will report how this behaves.

Wow, the Stelvio!
Pics?
Actually, the second time round - with 4 years under my belt - if you take it slow but steady, it's not that big of a deal. a 2.5hr steady effort. We took 3 breaks. I felt really good.
Remember I haven't really trained lately.
these pics are off the web, but it gives you an idea of the party that goes on. it was foggy on top and rainy on the bottom. lucky it was not freezing (it is 2750m after all) - but the descent was reeeeally cold.
