    Happy, happy Canada Day.
    How's the weather there now?

Tomorrow when it's Canuck day for us here, it'll be like today, bright blue sky, sunny and just right for cycling..not too hot with abit of Pacific coolness.

Maybe tomorrow night we'll pop over to Canada Place where there will be fireworks. In past years, we hear popping from several locations, but don't get around to going out to see them since they are smaller more localized displays vs. International Fireworks Event in past years.

I became a Canadian on Canada Day back in 1994, my 15 year anniversary!

Badger-Did you wear anything special when you attended your citizenship ceremony?

When I became a NZ citizen, they sent out a letter stating we could wear our national dress if we wanted to. I had to think about that one for a few min & then I had an AHA moment...I wore my Canadian Olympic Hockey Team Jersey over my dress. The Mayor's wife had a great giggle .

I honestly don't remember what I wore, though I doubt it was anything fancy. It was held at the Five Sails/Canada Place and this politician and that dignitary was there, but all I remember is the hamburger lunch I had afterwards with my friend!
