I love my Coda!
I love my Coda!
Zen, Theres someone on the richmond craigslist with a surly steamroller bike in 49 cms, I think. They dont list what the components are, so I am not sure if they've got it set up as a single speed or what. But something that might work.
If you ever wanna ride my surly to get an idea of fit or feel if you want to order one, its the pacer in 43/42 cms, I think...
I should almost sell it to you, I think that bike hates me.
The Steamroller is sold as a hipster-fixie and 49cm is too big for me.
I wish all my bike decisions were so easy
I'm looking for a lightweighttouring bike if there is such a thing(custom, I know)
Needs front & rear eyelets and numerous bottle mounts.

Discipline is remembering what you want.
You had a Coda then went to Aurora? Why?
I think I read that. It rated the FX2 as a good low budget tourer!
I think that's where I got the Aurora idea too.
I may just have to grit my teeth and save up my babysitting money for a custom bike.
A trike I can ride at Happy Haven Rest Home![]()

I wanted an AUrora but just tried the Coda for size.
You looked at the Bianchi? the Volpe?
If you like the Terry maybe you should wait for a used Valkyrie...too heavy?

I purchased a Valkyrie touring bike and it is at my LBS being assembled. I plan to use it on my upcoming tour of Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway. The gearing should be kind to the knees. I pick it up on Wednesday afternoon after work (actually I may leave a little early). I am finally going to embrace the fact that I have three bikes (steel, titanium, and carbon) all with differing wheel/tire sizes (26 inch, 650, and 700). I'll just have a small mechanic shop in the rear of my Element!![]()
