As cute as that piglet is, I still think it would be irresponsible to get a piglet as a pet unless you are prepared to properly house and care for it as it gets bigger. (and it will get bigger).
Some breeds are smallish when grown, but they still require special accommodations and real commitment.
One should be willing to either provide a spacious and loving country home for it as it outgrows the baby stage, or else have it slaughtered for food once it's reached a certain size. (in which case it's not exactly a 'pet')
In either case, we need to be responsible when we take on an animal's life. Animals are not toys or accessories, and their welfare and needs should be thoroughly considered before acquiring them.![]()
