Bringing up an old thread! I have a pair of Five Fingers (KSO model--"keep stuff out") and they are cool! I have been wearing them when I go to the rock climbing gym and even have started wearing them to the regular gym when I do strength/balance work (which I just started this week). I highly recommend them if they fit you (I have skinny feet and short toes but those aren't really problems for these shoes), just be careful transitioning if you're used to being in regular shoes all the time. Just be prepared for people to comment/ask questions at the gym! I'm sure people at my gym think I'm crazy when I work out in them, and when I do things like standing on the balance disc (sometimes attempting to do so on one foot) and bouncing a ball off the wall...
