I too opted for a hard wired computer, specifically a CatEye Astrale 8....I haven't had any problems with it, and so far no transmission interference-or picking up another rider's signal. Just nylon quick-tie the sensor wire to your bike frame, attach your cadence/speed sensors and "forgetaboutit".
