The bike path across the Wilson Bridge will officially open on June 6, 2009.

I know how to get there from the Virginia side, but I don't know anything about the Maryland side. Are there good bike routes from there, either on-street or trails?

Does anyone know when the Wilson bridge pedestrian/bike path will be open? Looks like it would be fun to pedal across. They've built in two overlooks on the middle so you can view the river and sites northward.
