I might have to check this out. I wanted to last year and I forget why I didn't. I just hope the rain they are forecasting for Saturday doesn't happen.
You too can help me fight cancer, and get a lovely cookbook for your very own! My team's cookbook is for sale Click here to order. Proceeds go to our team's fundraising for the Philly Livestrong Challenge!
Actually, DB, isnt' this the class in which you'll learn how to self-rescue? Never a bad thing, to know how to heave yourself back into a 'yak. Even if you never tip your boat, knowing how to get back in just in case can definitely increase your confidence level. Not to mention, it's fun to practice.
The bike ride sounds like it might become an annual thing, so you could possibly do it next year. And, with the chance of rain on Saturday, which would you rather have get wet: your bike or your kayak?
"How about if we all just try to follow these very simple rules of the road? Drive like the person ahead on the bike is your son/daughter. Ride like the cars are ambulances carrying your loved ones to the emergency room. This should cover everything, unless you are a complete sociopath."

Random babblings and some stuff to look at.
