So the CyclePUPs will have moved on to week 4 but I am stuck in week 3 for failing to do my PUPs last week.

Did Week 3 Day 1 (Column 1) this morning as a "reward" for doing my writing session first thing in the morning. 10 / 12 / 7 / 7 / 11 = 47, pretty cool stuff. My arms are shaking a bit though.

yellow, I understand alcohol and too much food, but I have to know how dirt keeps you from doing more pups

(imagining myself during a camping trip... "my hair's so scuzzy my head weighs an extra 5#"... "I'm not going to put my face so close to the ground when I don't know who peed there last night"... or ...)

    Week 3 completed: OUCH!!!!
I did 122. The last 6 I must admit, were on my knees. But up till then I was up on the toes. Oh my... so glad I get 48 hrs to rest from that!

A gal I work with came to work and told me I motivated her to try real pushups... she was so excited b/c she did ONE on her toes! I had to gloat... "Ask me how many I did this morning!"... ONE HUNDRED AND ONE! She couldn't believe it. Neither can I!

It's amazing what we all have accomplished in upper body strength in the last 3 weeks! We are STUDS!

I haven't looked yet at week 4.. I'm VERY afraid.

I want to try to do 100 pushups 3x a week to help with upper body and core strength. I can't believe I just put that out there.
That's so funny! I was trying to decide how to maintain after this (if THIS ever ends!). 2-3x / week of 50-75 is what I figured would be good. I do some of this at boot camp when I make it anyway, so I figured that would be enough! I may change my mind once I can do 100 -- may not want to lose that. Bragging rights, if nothing else!

Well I am doing the knee ones but it is still hard! Eventually I want to push myself to complete the challenge on my toes but I could only test out at one when we started this. I plan to continue the knee ones and maybe come January when it is dark and cold and I don't want to ride do the toe ones.

Okie doke, I'm about to declare this thread closed and post a new thread for our 4th week (note that I don't say "week 4" since some of us are repeating past weeks according to the schedule).

I'll be PMing a few of you in order to determine status!
