Ruthie used to drive me MAD chewing on anything she could. I'd spray her, shake coins, yell, clap my hands, whatever. Nothing stopped her, she's as spiteful a cat as can be (my mom says like mother, like daughter ). She seems to have slowed up a little bit, perhaps she's finally getting through the kitten stage (she'll be 2 in September), but there are times when she'll still randomly walk through the house and gnaw on things. I don't know if it'll ever stop.

I don't know what's more annoying, though. The chewing or the hairballs she's been leaving. There's one lousy area rug in the whole house, why does she have to keep hacking on it?!
