I hosted a 55 mile ride for the club today. Twenty-eight cyclist came out to my little corner of the world to ride. I hope they enjoyed the scenery, the peacefulness and the fellowship as they explored this route. Harp Pike is one of my favorite roads. I took a quick glance to my right as we passed the spot where I found "Harper" three weeks ago. I'm so glad I went back for her. We logged 54.7 miles today and I do believe the heat and humidity took its toll on some of the riders. The good news is all who started finished and there seemed to be a lot of smiles so I'm going to assume everyone enjoyed their day. Yet another good day on my bike! I'm really having a good time being a bike bum this summer.
