When you lose one, another one comes into your life at the right time. They always know. My Kali girl came along 2 days after I lost Ana to the Bridge. I really believe they know when to send another one into our life.

Luke is doing great! As I watched him load up in the car, all I could do was smile. I always knew deep down inside he was never really mine. He has a special home and job to do that only he could do for his new mom. I'm so very proud of him and his new mom just loves him to pieces. He will never want for anything again.

Thank you all for your words of comfort.

I can't remember, do you have other dogs or do you just foster?

Six months is a long time to have a foster, I'd be attached too but it makes me happy to see them go to just the right person.

Zen, I have 3 of my own. The energy is different with just 3 dogs.

Oh that made me cry! You are way cool to be a foster mom!
Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape.

Jeez, but that has to be hard to do. You're a remarkably special person, and the world needs more like you.

Wow... My heart really goes out to you. I know I don't have the strength to foster, so I make donations to a foster organization and help them with transport and home checks. You did a wonderful thing for Luke who looks like a total sweetie. Hudson sends a kiss your way.
