I think she's more new age than some feel comfortable with, but as with all books, take what's useful & helpful, and leave the rest behind. I feel her approach is pro-woman, pro-health (rather than just treating symptoms), and accepting of good alternative medicine. I also like that she encourages women to develop real relationships with their bodies, trusting their own instincts and intuitions. I agree fully! I have a lot of friends who have health issues,and follow what their Dr says but are not any better. I wish anti depressants where not given out so much. I have a friend who has been on them for years and I don't feel they help. It seems they have caused lots of other side problems. That is just my opinion I could be wrong.
