Great looking brochure, Jane! I've already passed it along to a couple of pals in the D.C. area, in case I can entice them down our way........Count me in!![]()

Well, I have a .pdf file of the Tour de Madison, hot off the press. However, the file size is too big to attach it here. If you will PM me with your email addresses, I will be happy to send it back to you.
The ride is always fun - this years routes are better than ever. Madison is one of the only places I know that changes the routes every year. I'd love to have some TErs here to enjoy the ride with me!

Here is another way to access the brochure: www.berrysports.com .
Scroll down a little and just under the blue "Click here to enter" button is a mention of the Tour de Madison & a link to download the brochure. I had to badger John to hurry and add the updated link for you girls.
Come play with Kathi and me!
Janice, hope you got the brochure!![]()

Zen....If you don't care about the color, can you set your printer to spit it out in B&W and in 'draft' mode? Those settings together will save you ink.

My printer is funny -it won't let me do that. It only uses one cartridge!
I sucked it up and printed it out![]()

How're the hills in this area?

F8th - the terrain is rolling - you are almost always going either up or down. It really depends on how far you are riding. There are some flat stretches, but we are at the foot of the Blue Ridge, so don't expect a lot of flat. The proposed route has hills, but nothing terribly long or steep. The longest climb is probably 2.5 or 3 miles and it rolls up gradually until the top. Everything else is short. A couple of the hills are relatively steep but VERY short.
I hope this helps!
Also - if this helps at all, I am 50+, not a thin, cyclist-type, not a fast rider at all, and have just converted from a triple to a compact double. I have not had any problems at all climbing the hills around here with my new drivetrain.

Thanks, Jane! Yes, that does help. They don't sound too bad. I'm just being a wimp but I know I need to tackle some hills for Harlem Valley in July.

Ha, ha, that was MY ride to a T last weekend! Almost 34 miles, the last few of which I was struggling every inch of the way. I was thinking of Starfish's signature line as I pushed to make it to the end. (When I wasn't preoccupied with simply staying upright and moving, that is!)![]()
