Sorry I'm so late to this thread... What did you wind up doing?

I have Speedplay Light Action pedals. They are very easy to get in and out of. My only complaint is how humongous the cleats are. They are big and slippery. Can't do anything except put a foot down at an intersection. Forget walking more than 10 or 20 feet.
