Lite Sabe R, congrats...I hope this is just what you wanted!

There is a wonderful book called The Conscious Bride. Can't recall the author.

    Best wishes for every happiness!

Well actually - I knew it was coming. We'd been shopping for a while for rings that would suit us (we went with titanium to match the frame of BF's bike)

I got a gorgeous little ring that fits me perfectly (the biggest hurdle to overcome)

We'd had a marvelous day off in the City on Friday. We went to Yum cha at our favourite chinese resturant, Then went to a gourmet chocolate shop (We got free samples and bought a few too) Had afternoon tea in ANZAC square; Then walked into the city where we stumbled upon a jewellery store that was having a sale!

And there was the ring - And he bought it for me. It is perfect (and was WELL within our price range) We wore the rings as we walked out; Looked at each other - Said "marry me" and burst out laughing. ^_^ Not totally romantic but very us. ^_^

Scarey though. Now I got a wedding to plan.... 0_0

    Congrats Saber!
Way to make a decision on the rings too
You can always avoid the wedding plan stress by doing what we did - about a week out from our engagement "do" we decided we didn't want to wait a few months to get married - we'd made the committment already.
So at the engagement party we announced we were getting married the next day...
From first kiss to marriage - 6 weeks
22 years later, here we are...

We just wanted to get on with being married - with being a couple...
Congrats again... when the recipe works, it is so fine

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
    "I will try again tomorrow".

CONGRATS!!! Ditto do it your way & remember it's only one day. A special day, but still only one. So don't let others talk you into adding lots of extra expense and doing things the "right" way if that's not you.
