    Great pics!

You got alot closer than I did! I wanted to take Friday off and go to Lebanon and then Columbia, but I didn't. Next year I will! I'm right between them both. Did you see any other stages? I was going to go to St. Louis today, but alas, I didn't make it.

What yummy pictures of George, AG - thanks for posting!

Did Versus not have any coverage of the tour today? I turned it on at 3:30 after our hike, and there was nothing on at all about the tour. The Ironman Arizona coverage was kinda interesting, but I'd rather see Georgie!

I was looking on Versus also and was disappointed there was no coverage.

    I touched George's bike!!!

I was at the Start/Finish line in St. Louis today, and the whole atmosphere was great. I got to stand right next to George's bike while he was at anti-doping - couldn't resist a quick pat on the seat (of the bike, not George ).

Nicest scene of the day - the whole Discovery Team, plus some former 7/11, Mortorola and USPS riders were called up on the stage for a bow after the rest of the presentations. There was a huge cheer from the crowd, and the biggest hand was for Johan. Very classy of the organizers.

What was amazing for me....well. I grew up in rural MO. I live in Philadelphia now, and only go "home" once a year. When I heard there was going to be a pro race there, I was floored. St. Louis, OK..Kansas City...OK, but the rest of MO? I was surprised! So I centered my vacation around it. And my state made me proud! As we "jumped" the course I was amazed at the "little old ladies" in hats wating to watch th racers go by. It was just cool.
