    Review: Ibex Long Janes

Ibex has once again proven they are friends to those of us with long limbs.

The Long Janes http://www.ibexwear.com/S07/View_Pro...&CategoryLine= went on sale, and I could no longer restrain myself. I love longies, and I had to buy them. Really, I *had* to! (and they're WOOL!!!!)

My sad Duofold "Got a Hole" longies really bit the big one this winter, and I stopped darning the holes they accumulated with every wearing. I was running out of thread... (jk)

Anyway, I pulled on the Long Janes which arrived today, and went dancing and whooping through the house. They are LONG ENOUGH! In fact, they might even be an inch or two too long! The fabric is the same as the Norgie Crew and the Roaster Boxers (which I ordered two more of) but unlike the Boxers, the Long Janes have a mini diamond gusset rather than a full length gusset. The waistband is looser and narrower than the Boxers, also. I suppose so you can fit it easily over under-roos without risk of chafing or bunching.

They are soft and comfortable. I will likely run in them when it rains. I'm sure I'll wear them under my clothes most of the winter, and dollars-to-donuts I'll be sleeping in them, too!

I wouldn't wear them on the bike (the seams aren't right for biking, but the Boxers are fine on the bikes as undies for shorter rides), for chilly biking I will stick with Ibex's bike knickers.

All in all I am extraordinarily happy with my Ibex Long Janes. (and I consider myself a long underwear afficionado, with definite opinions)

at the moment here, with the storm clouds rolling in, I've actually considered it!

Edit: 3 hrs later I was wearing them under my Levis.
