I just read that the weather is going to change over there soon.
You just left me in the dust, there's no way I could stay on the bike that long in the basement. Keep chugging away there.

Mimi, we all just have to keep chugging away when we have the good weather wherever we are- those CA and FL and TX girls will blow us all away come February! Rain coming soon now here....and then who knows.

Here in Seattle if we wait for "good" weather we don't get to ride, but this windy rain stuff is just too much.
You shouldn't have said anything i didn't notice that it said December until you mentioned it.

I just came back from a quick ride - given that it's the 5th of January and I live in MA, it is amazing that I did this ride in SHORTS! We hit a high of 65 here today, and supposed to do at least that tomorrow....

Drizzley here... but I wanted to just keep on riding because it was just so nice. Since I didn't get that feeling on my noon errand, I think it's because in the morning there was NO WIND either.
Reasonably nice commute... dropped by bike shop for tube since I used one yesterday
... then rode to restaurant for bike club Friday dining.

Managed to get out for a 26 mile ride between rain showers. It was my last day of leave, so I really wanted to get in one more weekday "daylight hours" ride. My Showers Pass jacket arrived, so I wore it just in case I got caught in the rain. Even though it was quite warm/humid for this time of year (64 degrees), the jacket really vented well. Luckily, the rain held off. Back to work on Monday and to riding in late afternoons.

I managed to dodge between rain showers also, and took a short run along Big Soos Creek on this:
It's actually not quite that colour of blue, it's much prettier than that. This is the new Peugeot mixte, acquired on 31 December. $25!
I think Big Soos Creek will be under water part of the way today due to the latest heavy rain. Perhaps I'll do GRT or Interurban instead. Maybe mountain bike around Lake Youngs? Choices, choices....
