Thank you to everyone for your good luck. The weather outside was not the best, it started out snowing and went to rain and wind, then some drizzle, then some nasty rain and wind, and went out snowing by dark. I finished in 5:19, which was 30 minutes slower than I expected, but the winners finished in 2:25 and 3:01, which are 20-30 minutes slower than the NYC finish times so I don't feel so bad

I will post a full race report soon! Maybe not until tonight, spending some time with the in-laws.

So, I feel slow, but accomplished

    Colby,
It sounds as though you did a fantastic job, especially considering the weather. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    WOAH! That weather sounds brutal!

Great job on running through it! We will wait patiently for a full race report.

Congrats on a great marathon time in not so great conditions. Sounds like it was VERY tough out there. You did it, girl. Rest, take care of yourself, and keep yourself healthy (I always get sick after a marathon, and being that yours was in such cold/undesireable conditions be sure to take extra good care of your body).

    Again, congrats!!!

Way to go Colby. You were a trooper to endure that nasty weather. Are you still sore?

It's getting better! I have been doing Yoga in the mornings, saw my chiropractor today (wow, that was fun), and have an appointment for acupuncture tomorrow morning. I can pretty much walk normally and my quads are just slightly sore, not mega-sore.
