Welp, I reckon if they don't enforce the law, there are resident drivers (or business owners) who would jump on them. It's the folks who passed the laws (prob'ly thinkng it makes for a "pleasant tourist experience" - can't have people inconvenienced on their way to the beach!) - perhaps not a pox, but diminished tourism... Hilton Head isn't my idea of a good time anyway - I prefer upstate, too
