Any girls from the Nashville area? I'm going to be visiting for work 10/30-11/17 and hoping to keep riding. If anyone is from the area and can give me some tips (good trails, shops, rentals, show me some good road riding, etc) let me know!

hth,
Hello,
I live and ride (not as much as I should) with a local club. Check out www.harpethbikeclub.com. We have organized rides on Tuesday nights that start at 6:30 p.m. on the Natchez Trace. There are also Saturday and Sunday rides as well. The Natchez Trace is a great place to ride, beautiful scenery, not too much traffic, lots of rolling hills, and NO big rigs or dogs to deal with.Hope you enjoy your stay.

Southernbelle and I ride some Saturdays. She found a really great route around Cedars of Lebbanon State Park. We found out it wasn't a good idea to ride too early due to the frigid temps. I almost lost some fingers.

Thanks for all the info. Sadly, I just found out today I'm not going to TN, I'm going to Canton, MS. I was waiting to post the original thread until I knew for sure, got final confirmation, made the post, started researching places that rent bikes, and then today got an email saying I'm going somewhere else
*sigh* companies can be so difficult!
Oh, my roommate from college was from Canton!
Really? Sweet! If she rides, let me know if there is a shop in the area she recommends. I have three weeks there...plenty of time to see the area. I did a search and it doesn't look like there are too many shops in the area. I'm thinking of just shipping my bike to make it a little easier.
