If I didn't already own two Timbuk2 bags, plus more bags in general than you could shake a stick at....

So please. Somebody. Let me live vicariously through you. I just KNOW that this one will be the perfect bag!

I keep looking at it trying to convince myself I *really* need the green one.

Looks like a great REGULAR pack for carrying books and laptop when you're on foot.
But to me it looks too boxy for a biking pack- i think it would swing from side to side too much. A waist strap might help keep it steady, but it doesn't have one.
If you're looking for a biking pack, I find this pack works wonderfully well for me on my bike:

It's tall and narrow and very lightweight. Stays put on your back without swinging. The picture shows it fully loaded. It has a water hydration system (that I removed from mine) and you can actually stow your helmet in the front pocket. If you shop around online you can find it for less, maybe $70 or so. I also like the yellow color for traffic visibility.

    I got the green one!

My first SAC purchase, though I have been seriously tempted by other deals before. This one I actually need, because my generic laptop shoulder bag really kills my back. Plus, one of my colleagues has the identical generic black Dell bag, so I'm always worried we're going to walk off with each other's.

For $31 shipped, I really couldn't pass this one up! Was going to go for the blue at first, but eventually decided the green was a little more sophisticated for bringing to work.

Yay! It is such an incredible deal. Although I do tend to get a little nuts aroung SAC--"but I could learn to snowboard, I mean, look at that beautiful board thing! 79% off!" I restrain myself. So far I've gotten an Icebreaker sweater for $70 off, and SmartWool socks for $24 off three pair. Such deals!

I miss all the cool clothing deals. I did however snatch up the huge travel first aid kit. I have a family filled with guys, need I say more.

By the time I got there it was a t shirt proclaiming "Hummers in the bedroom, not the backcountry!"
