I am now in possession of a Specialized Comp. A prof just gave it to me. I'm turning it into a learn-to-cross bike. It came in pieces and I put her back together yesterday. Minus one defective brake cable (she's in the shop, so no pics yet!), she's good to go. I put new Serfas 1.25'' tires on it and boy does it ride pretty! I'm still getting used to how smooth of a ride it is in comparison to my roadie haha. I've got stock platforms with cages on it right now because I had them lying around but I'm going to put SPD's on it. Gonna just ride it quite a bit in the coming weeks. Planning on commuting with it when I get it back next week just to get a feel for it. If I like the bike enough, I might try to winter commute with different tires!

I'm so excited!
