Unhappy I think I had the wrong width saddle...

The LBS where I purchased my road bike sold me a 130mm Ariel saddle and I think that, although a major improvement form the torturous Bontrager stock saddle, it was not the correct size. I tried the Jett 130 and it was torture. I just got a Jett 143 from a fellow TE'er and it feels much less painful right off the bat (just a test sit, no shorts) I am going to do my first test ride tomorrow....or maybe this weekend (stupid cold rain).

The best measurement I could get of my sitbones was between 100-120mm....

I am excited So I guess this is a premature post...

Where is the chafing that results from a too-wide saddle? Is it in the crease of the inner thigh, where the leg attaches to the rest of the torso?
