I am actually one of those people who really keep New Years Resolutions. I quit smoking as a result of a resolution, also did a triathlon, 5K and 10K because I resolved to do them. So here are mine for the new year:
1. Learn Spanish. So many of the folks I work with speak it and it makes me crazy wondering what they are talking about. I just ordered a DVD that teaches you beginner Spanish.
2. Quit drinking beer (and oh, how I love beer). I actually quit on 17 December, which makes me 10 days beer free today!
3. Lose 10 lbs by not drinking beer!
4. Do a century and an Olympic Triathlon.
5. Run a 1/2 marathon in September. There is actually one in March I may just shoot for.
6. Focus more on my job. I am getting bored and therefore lax. I need to jump back into it and get excited about it again.
I am never down. I am either up or getting up.
