One more thing. When i used to swim on my own(before finding the group swim I go to) I would be the only one in a lane during the chilly winter mornings. It was so cool swimming outside as all the old hags would be inside.

I am a bit confused about circle swimming. Do you mean in a lane each person would stay on one side only?

At most pools here they have a slow, medium and fast lane with signs noting this.

Interesting info. All the pools I have been to in Aust we always did circle swimming even with only two. I actually prefer that.

CC Circling swimming is where you swim up one side and then back down the other. I havent found the need to do that here as I always get a lane to myself .

So here is my question in the USA which way does the circle go?? In Aust its up the left and back down the right.
