When I got my new bike, my hands and elbows hurt when I rode, so I bought some new gloves. Bought some Specialized gloves with "better" padding than I had in my first pair of Specialized gloves -- they had a bigger pad "on" the "heel" of my thumb. This made some difference: my right hand stopped hurting.

After having some adjustments made to the angle of the handlebar, or something -- some kind of shim where the stem attaches to the head tube area, my left elbow stopped hurting.

While in the bike shop with DH this past Sunday afternoon, I picked up another pair of gloves -- PI Gel-Lite Race this time, and WOO-HOO! Left hand and right elbow didn't hurt last night while riding! (DH thought I was being frivolous buying gloves, since mine weren't torn like his)

And they're PRETTY, too! I may need some clothes to match them -- I got the red ones, don't have any other red stuff

I'm mighty happy with the new bike now, and think it's pretty near perfect -- just one more tweak, I think: I'm kind of slip sliding around on the saddle, so I need to tinker a bit with an otherwise pretty good thing!
