I can't get a Marinoni. He looked at their specs and said they would be worse for me than my Bianchi is. He tweaked my seat (angle and setback), my handlebars and insisted that NEXT time i be all ready with my SPD's.
He was very knowledgeable. He said that my top tube was too long (duh)
and did try and maximize what can be done with the bike.
He suggested that i try a 48cm RUBY (of all things)
He said the geometry on them might be just the thing for me. He also told me that if there are any other bikes I want to look at, just send him the specs and he will check to see if they are for me.

so with all the $$ I saved by not buying a Marinoni, I bought a raincoat from TE
Hurray! Glad you did this. I do have a geometry spreadsheet at home that compares the Dolce, Eros Donna, and Terry Isis--but can't send it till next week, since back in Paine Field hotel till then. But glad this is done! He's a really nice guy and knows a ton. His wife reps lots of different bike stuff--Fizik, too.
