Mmm, life is good. Bubba is coming home early for a bike ride and the SB ordered arrived. The gold Jamaican bar leapt out of the box. It must have been feeling very claustrophic in there.

The description on the wrapper:
Jamaica a l'ancienne melds the rustic textures of stone-ground Jamaican cacao nibs and course cane sugar to the deep flavor of SB Unsweetened Chocolate. It evokes chocolate's Caribbean roots.

I would call it a very rustic Nibby Bar with a rough texture and cane sugar overtones. Very interesting. Nibby Bar lovers will like it. It is pure dark chocolate left in an almost natural state -- not a "refeened" bar at all. Kind of like a young wine. Ingredients are: cacao beans, sugar and whole vanilla beans (70% cacao). You don't let it melt in your mouth like finely ground chocoate but move the nibs around because the taste changes at it hits different taste buds. It's kind of bold, rough and simple all at the same time.
