I get a rash from the silicone bands in my Shebeest shorts, especially in hot weather. They're a little too short to roll them over (but I sometimes do it anyway). Never had a problem with regular elastic, so it's not like my legs are super sensitive.
I know I've talked to other people who get a rash from silicone grippers.
Anyway, thanks for the summary.
While you're at it... it would be GREAT if your site gave more information about chamois - width, length, thickness. I know that's a lot of work for someone, but probably no more work than processing all the shorts I've had to return because the chamois was too wide or too thick.![]()
