Oh cool - recycled bikes near me

There's a place run by our city where jobless people can be bike mechanics. They do repairs, they make nifty accessories, and they also sell fixed-up used bikes for cheap.

Most nifty, they take old steel race bike frames, give them a new coating, and turn them into single, double, up to 7 speed bikes. They don't come cheap but they look super cool.

They had a 2-speed in the colors of the Italian flag in the window, one front brake and a rear coaster brake.
It's a little secret you didn't know about us women. We're all closet Visigoths.

There's a bike recycle shop in New Orleans that I keep meaning to take my IronHorse. It has a cracked frame, so not repairable as a whole bike, but figured they could part it out. One of these days...
