    Start tomorrow

Okay, I am posting this to help me be accountable.
I will start riding tomorrow morning. I haven't rode in probably a year or more and then it was just sparse riding. I haven't rode seriously in probably 5 or more years. I am thinking I should be able to do 10 to 15 miles tomorrow. We'll see how hot it is in the morning. It's been already in the 80's early in the morning here in TX so hopefully it won't be much more than that.

Anyway, I will post tomorrow and let you girls know how I do. Wish me luck.

    Donna:

Have a great ride and be safe. Remember to listen to your body for it will provide you with a lot of feedback (good and bad). Take your time and most importantly, have a great time.

DDH, just don't set goals that are difficult for you to attain. Keep it fun, and you'll succeed in making it a permanent part of your life.

Have a great time out there tomorrow!

RIghto - GET OUT THERE... if 5 miles is enough, it's still 5 more than staying in.

I'm gonna try & get out early, too, like I didn't Friday (but DID Saturday).

Have fun out there DDH and be sure to post in the daily rides thread whenever you ride

Oh, and do you have a free account at www.bikejournal.com yet? I love seeing my mileage add up on there, it's really motivating!

    Donna:

Brandy's suggestion of utilizing BikeJournal is a great one. It has been a huge motivational force for me this season. I'm competitive (don't tell my BF I admit to this) and watching my milage grow, seeing where I stand amongst all the other riders keeps me going. Have fun and let us know how your ride goes.
