I don't generally frequent the mtbr.com forums ('cause I don't MTB . . . yet ), but someone the RBR.com posted a link to this thread, which they described as "epic." While that word gets used rather loosely, I think it applies here for sure.

In a nutshell, it's a thread with a ton of photos and some cool videos from an avid MTBer from Kodiak Island, Alaska. The scenery is amazing, and while I'm no expert obviously, he and his wife/GF/friend appear to be seriously talented. Be sure to scroll through each of the pages as he updates it periodically with new photos and videos.

Incredible! I had to smile when I realized that she has Pugsley tires on her Turner for snow-riding - and it looks like she is having a great time and is one tough rider. I am also noticing how far behind the saddle her butt is when going downhill. Thanks for sharing the link - I am on that forum as well but haven't had much time lately...

What you should really notice about her body position is that -
she has a wide stance... she is not gripping the saddle or the frame with her legs and knees. Her weight is balanced on her feet, so her legs are strong. This allows the bike to move freely and the suspension to work effectively. Id addition, she is very relaxed and focused on the trail.
