Katy Flatlands RIde

Anyone doing the Katy Flatlands Ride in the Houston area on July 17th? Just wanted to see who all was going?

This is a ride that dh and I have wanted to do for some time, but the timing stinks. It is always the Sunday before we leave on a trip to Galveston to hook up with dh's Houston relatives for the weekend. We just don't want to drive that twice in a few days and we can't be there all week. I'd love to hear about it if you go. I'll ride vicariously through you.

I am riding the Katy ride with my DH this weekend. It will be the first time. We are doing the 62, we are trying to work our way to a century!

I'm doing the race as well. I'm only doing the 30 miles (my first organized ride) I've never even done a group ride :/ Always by myself!
