Ha ha! One of my coworkers had one and he used to bring it to the pet store. He tried to hump the dogs, it was funny stuff. Unfortunately pigs are illegal and Boulder, go figure, and he had to give it up. Boo!

There was a pet pig at a campground I stayed at once. It belonged to the campground. Kids would kind of harass it, so one day when my husband had taken our kids to the waterpark the pig had a nice nap on my feet as I was enjoying a beer and a good book.

When I was visiting a friend in Zimbabwe (in 1995 when it was still a nice safe place) - there was a guy who had a "pet" wharthog. He lived out in the bush and had rescued the baby right after a hunter killed it's mom. He didn't treat it like a pet, but since he'd fed it, etc, it hung around and was perfectly comfortable around people.
(Don't get me wrong - negatives= some stupid human could kill it not knowing it was tame and, I was once walking outside near this guy's place, saw a wharthog, and walked on by it, only to find out it wasn't bumpy -I could have been killed).

Zen, where do you get these videos? I've been sending Bizkit to everyone I know.

Pigs are so cool. We met one in Central Park; imagine our surprise. He was a friendly fellow and seemed to be enjoying his stroll.

Bizkit was featured in a Purina newsletter, from there I looked him up on YouTube.
