I couldn't resist. I bought one! I'll provide a review after it arrives and I get a chance to wear it.

Good idea - why don't I think of the obvious? The models that I have seen the jersey on look like they need some pizza and a streak and a milkshake and some butter and...............which makes me a bit nervous when ordering their product!

I have a similar black vanderkitten jersey and I have a medium and it's really big on me. I usually take medium in other brands, so I was sort of surprised. The vanderkitten shorts, however, seem to run small...

Anyway, I'd maybe order a size smaller than you think you need if they're anything like last year's sizing.

Last year's team kit, the all-black with the hot pink, was "challenged" in the fit department. Those were made by VOMax in Mass. They looked great, but there were a few fit issues. I know other new companies- Twin Six, Dude Girl, etc, have all gone through the fit and grading stresses as well.

These kits will be based on this season's race kit, meaning they will have a slimmer cut with a longer torso and more true to size. The racers love this fit, as do the fit non-racers. These will be offered in XS-XL to begin with.

The back of the jersey has very generous white-space to relieve the wearer from the burden of the sun. There is also a very interesting study that came out last season that measured the body temperature of cyclists and compared them from one jersey color to another... the study concluded that color has no discernable effect on core body temperature and that that actual fabric properties made up the biggest difference during peak exercise.

We are not planning on offering a matching short as of yet because the numbers to be able to re-sell a short in the limited quantities is not there. We will reasses this summer and have something up on the website.

There will also be a black and hot pink version of this coming out without the white stripes on the front and back. This will have the same dagger-pattern background and the same style elements. NOTE: Neither jersey will have the sponsor logos, and only the jerseys purchased through vanderkitten.com will have the popular tagline "Clothing for Women Who Kick ***!" because of shops reluctance to carry something that says "***" on it... yes, true story.

If you have any questions, you can always email. The phone works, but usually we are printing, shipping, on the road selling or supporting the developing racing program.

    Thanks again for your support!!
