You've been thinking about that title all week and couldn't wait to post it... weren't you?

I'm not running either, just showing up to hassle people.

No running today for me! A second day of rest in a row to nurse my slight (presumed) left-foot tendonitis of the big toe! This is my last week of actual, planned running until the next season. I have a 8K race on Sunday so it's also taper week. Tomorrow I'll be testing the course, but ride my bike down there to avoid having to run up the hill (which aggravates the toe...).

I hope someone gets a run for me though. It's raining and I don't dislike running in the rain!

I just got back from my run/walk. Today I started a couch to 5K program and I found out running is not that bad.

I hope everyone else has a good running week!

Hi! I don't usually post here, but love the reading! I ran five miles today on the treadmill. We got 2 feet of snow here in W. NY in the last few days, so no outside work. I am doing 10 minute miles with the last .25 of each mile at an 8.5 minute pace. I don't run on pavement much, so it will be awhile until I can get out on the trails.

I have signed up for the Western States training run over Memorial day. The first day is 32 miles and then 20 and 20. I'm taking it one day at a time!! I also am doing a 22K trail run locally in the beginning of May. Yikes!! I'd better ramp it up! I also spin three times a week and do resistance training.

    Happy running!!

Got outside for a run today. It was a little chilly by the time I got home but it was still great. I ended up doing 5 miles. I'm pretty happy b/c I'm consistently doing 9:30 miles even on the hilly routes. That's pretty good for me. I'm more of a slow and steady girl for the most part.

Yikes HorseMom - that's awesome that you are going for all that. I could never do it but I am in awe of those that can.

I ran 3.5mi today after I got home - man that time change is nice I included a few intervals on the flat and then ran the steep hills coming home. Interesting note - apparently one of the houses caught on fire in my neighborhood. There were two fire trucks there and a pumper truck was leaving as I ran by. Didn't look too bad, though.

For the month I have run 16.5mi so far - that is doing good for me
