    Wine Country

Just wondering who's doing the Wine Country Century this weekend. I'll be working the Wohler Bridge rest stop from 10-3. Say hi if you come through at that time so I can put your face to your name.

Deanna- Please say hi to the Benicia Bike Club people on my behalf- they have yellow jerseys with a grey tire across the front. Should be quite a few coming your way. They'll love the fact that you know them!

I have to work that day or I'd be seeing you too!

I wish we could do it. It sounds like a gorgeous ride. I think we need to plan a group ride up there.

He V- I'll bet you we can get some ride sheets from people who are doing this ride! I have done the century and can dig out my sheet from last year. It is indeed a fabulous ride as is the Napa Valley one (which I know better!)

    Reports?

Any reports? I spoke with a friend of mine who rode it and he said it was the prettiest century he's ever ridden (he did the double metric).

I'm part of the club that put on the ride, so not only am I a little biased but I worked at one of the rest stops so my experience for the day was limited. I can tell you the riders sure lucked out on the weather. Our volunteers ride the next day was rained out! Most of the people that came through seemed to be having a good time, made me wish I had done the ride instead.

Reports so far- the Double Metric was fab! By far made the whole ride spectacular. Good thing it was on Saturday as yesterday was pretty miserable around here

Next year I'm gonna do the double (sounds like some kind of dance to me)!
