    tioga spider pedals?

I saw these on the rivendell site :http://www.rivbike.com/#product=14-054

and am really intrigued. I'm going to take my power straps off until later on in the season (at least)...I'm just more comfortable with a "loose foot" for now...and sick of falling over!

I find that the pedals on my Aurora are already kind of sticky, so my feet don't slip at all...and looking at the grips on thse makes me think it could even get better..and I could still have free feet...

they are a bit dear..but could be worth it...?

    any input?

Have you looked at any other BMX pedals? They do seem awfully expensive but then
    frogs go for about $135.
I've learned it doesn't pay to be cheap.

I was thinking about putting Frogs on my canal bike but after losing three Ebay auctions you've got me thinking about BMX...

I have a second hand set of Wellgo BMX pedals that I got from my LBS. I really like the platform pedals over the Frogs for my mtb.

Aesthetically speaking, I think it's an interesting choice for you Aurora. I would do it, but then I do have a tendency of challenging convention

I decided on the BMX pedals when I was exercising the dogs on the bike. It's so nice to just jump off when I need to. With the Frogs, it took me longer to unclip and it was a little more challenging.
