Somebody posted this link a few days ago -- I don't recall who, but thanks!

Today's item is Oakley mtn bike shorts. I ordered a pair in dark red.

Anybody worn these before? I just loved the color!

I ordered a pair in dark red. I don't know why, I don't have a jersey to match. I hope they don't run large!

Yes, but they offer more than just clothes. Mosly outdoor type things such as tents, sleeping bags, sunglasses, shoes....etc. Here's a link to what they've offered. You can scroll through the pages if you're interested.

I love this site and woot.com, too! Just wish I had more money to buy more often! Of course, the same goes for buying bike gear, too.

Did those who ordered the Oakley shorts like them?

I returned mine. They were huge!

Mine didn't fit, either. I was relieved that I could return them.

I think the "huge" would have been okay for me, but the zipper was short so I couldn't get them on! (Too huge for you, not huge enough for me?)

I'm afraid I'm the buttless wonder. They were apparently meant to be worn low, which is ok up to a point. Thus the short zip. But when you don't have a rump to keep them up, things could turn very unattractive.

Well, I couldn't get them over my rump. However, they looked like they should have been big enough -- it was just the short zipper. Ah well! I did like the color (dark red).

The one thing that sorely, sorely tempted me was teh "reef sandals" with the bottle opener in the sole. They only went down to a size 9 and I wear an 8. Saved me twenty bucks... p'raps that shoudl go into the Blender Bottle fund. (I've been using the bike blender enough to appreciate getting the "blade in the bottle" thingies so I can mix stuff ahead of time and just whip it out and ride... but they're $30 apiece... which isn't too nuts, it *is* basically the working parts of a blender except the motor... guess I better go out and start gatehring those aluminum cans!)
