    Talking British World Champion

I was glued to my tv last night to watch David Millar win his gold .......what a ride to win the ITT. He deserves his world champion title. Although there was a point that it looked like he was in trouble, he seemed to sit up and slow down, it later transpired that he realised he was so far ahead he decided to have a bit of a breather !!! not surprising, he'd already passed the TWO guys that had set of 1.5 and 3 minutes in front of him.
It was so funny listening to David Duffield when Millar started to slow, Duffers was almost whispering, it was as if he might jinx Millar if he got excited.

All eyes on Nicole now, can Britain have two world chapions by the end of the weekend? I think so.

Good old Millar - a great win for the UK!

Duffer's is so funny - I really don't know how Sean Kelly puts up with him. I especially like the way he has of reminding Sean about all the races he DIDN'T win. Seans world weary sighs of 'Yes David' are great!

Shame Nicole didn't quite make it in the road race - but hats of to Ms Longo. She was flying. I always think being reeled in, in the last couple of km's must be the most gutting thing.

Then again Nicole is only 20 so plenty of time.
