    Brake levers for small hands

Well, I have decided to de-lurk myself and ask for some advice.
I am thinking of buying a new road bike and am worried that the Campagnolo brake levers will be too big for my hands. As far as I can find out, they donīt do a womenīs specific version (unlike Shimano). Does anyone else with small hands use Campagnolo?

    Thanks in advance,

Bron, do some searches on this forum. A lot of us with small hands like Campy. Shimano does not make a women's specific version; they make a short reach version that both sexes with small hands use. Shimano uses a shim to bring the lever closer to the bar.

Go to your LBS and ask to test ride bikes with both levers. It is really a personal preference. The shifting as well as the gearing choices are vastly different in both brands so consider that in your decision, though if you decide you prefer Campy levers but want lower gearing there are solutions.

Thanks for the advice. I only realised that I could search after I had made the post. I was sure that this topic must have been covered before.
Anyway, the bike shop said that I could do a test ride any evening next week
