    Released from Restrictions!

I suffered a tib/fib fracture not quite 3 months ago. I was allowed to start bearing weight 4 weeks ago, and at my follow up appointment the doctor removed any restrictions! Now, I'm still not fully healed (the bone has a way to go, but everything is stable), but I'm allowed to do whatever is comfortable for me to do. He even released me to skydive (although I don't think I'm ready to land yet since I still can't run, and I couldn't even imagine jumping off of a step to land, but will get there soon!).

I still have lots of strengthening to do (my ankle and knee are super weak) and my balance on that leg is bad too and I'm shocked that I've even lost lots of core strength while recuperating. I've been riding my bike on a trainer, but still don't have quite enough ankle strength to unclip that leg easily so I'll likely change pedals out and take the bike outside! In any event, I know I have lots of work to do, but its nice to know I can do whatever I feel comfortable doing and that its only going to improve from here!

Yes congrats! I bet it will feel great to get out there.
