Question Dinotte 200L Light: O ring security...

I think I'm bringing my light shopping to a close... maybe.

For those of you that own the Dinotte 200L that attaches with the O ring, how secure do you feel it is on the handle bars? My country roads are not so smooth. I swear, sometimes I feel like I am riding on a rail road track.

Can the light withstand the potholes and rough pavement? Seems like it would slip around on the bar and not hold the beam in place where you want it?

    TYIA for any thoughts!

My MiNewt mounts with a little rubber o-ring, and it's very sturdy. It came with several different size o-rings to match different bar diameters. I've had a couple break, but NiteRider sent me free new ones. You may want to ask Dinotte about their policy...

Those Dinottes are supposed to be awesome lights- good choice!

Thx Becky for your respone! That helps make my decision easier. I think I read someone else on here that got additional O rings fine from Dinotte.

I haven't used the O ring that Dionette supplied. Instead, I've used gum bands---several---and the lamp stays in place like a champ. Don't budge when I hit bumps.
